LIFE BOOK 2009
Health:
1. Drink plenty of water
2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar
3. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants, and eat less food that is manufactured in plants
4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy
5. Make time for prayer
6. Play more games
7. Read more books than you did in 2008
8. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day
9. Sleep for 7 hours
10. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day ---- and while you walk, smile
Personality:
11. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
12. Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment..
13. Don't over do ; keep your limits
14. Don't take yourself so seriously ; no one else does
15. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip

17. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need..

Black Belt and Poomse for my handsome boys!!

Yeap.. you read it right!!
My boys, Syed Izzuddin Alhady and Syed Haniff Alhady have been granted with Black Belt and Poomse belt for taekwondo..Frankly, I'm very proud of their achievement. It is all because of their dedication and hardwork for what they have obtained.
During the grading session for Black Belt and Poomse Belt, tak ramai yang ambik, just about 20 studenrs je..
I pray to ALLAH, moga anak-anak Alhady ku berjaya dan success in their education and life for say..AMIN

Hi all.. I have been busy quite busy and I have to admit that I need to do something with my time management schedule..@ I alse need to update this page often la, or else sampai lost track of things..
For this entry I masukkan our trip ke Malacca during last March school holidays.. kebetulan husband ada conference di A'Famosa Malacca and all of us pack our bags too.
During our visit there, we took the oppurtunity to visit my Pak Long yang tinggal di Sin Hoe Garden, Peringgit Melaka. We also took the oppurtunity to visit the famous A'Famosa building, the wheel yang famous tu... Eyes of Malaysia, tapi tak sempat naik .. kind of rugi rasanya.. banyak la tempat-tempat lain yang tak sempat pergi..
As for say, we put 2 nites at the A'Famosa Resort, Alor Gajah Melaka..room and ccomodation wise was ok tapi maintanance wise... macam kurang la..
A'Famosa Rlesort - The place is interesting as it offers many and varities of activities for the family. Ada Wild Wild West Town (betul ke nama tu?), ada Safari park and the Water park. We only went to the Safari Park as to us kalau Water Park dah selalu sangat pergi ke Bukit Merah and furthermore time memang singkat.
Safari Park was great as banyak animal shows, yang paling seronok was the Elephant show and the rest was ok to me la..
Penat la cerita.. you all tengok photos la ek..

I am now 40!!!

Lama tak update FP... frankly too many things happened. Ad yang seronok and ada yang very challenging..
Let's start with the good one 1st - I TURN 40 LAST JANUARY 7TH!!!
A quiet celebration with hubby and kids at home.. a lovely gift from hubby and the kids, many calls and wishes from friends and family back home.
My wish for this year:
1. Minta di berikan umur yang panjang dan sihat, insyallah.
2. Biarlah keluarga kami sihat dan sejahtera. AMIN
3. Mohon doa agar my family happy and together sentiasa.. INsyallah...
4. Beri lah kekuatan fizikal and mental to start my 3 year study project.. insyallah.

Carrot cheese cake and cheese cake

Bake these two cakes about a week ago.
It was my 1st attempt in baking the carrot cheese cake. Alhamdullillah, it turned up alright and I gave some to the neighbors. Quite simple and tak banyak kerenah,, recipe siapa, I'm not quite sure, but it was kind of easy..
As for the cheese cake, recipe is from Kak Amal..Thanks kak!!

1st Day of School for 2009

This year, my little girl is in Standard One, so everyone boleh keluar sekali. Every morning, everybody would be in the car by 7.00am in the morning and off we go to school and work.
This year the family's schedule is kind of tight as both boys are taking their major exam.. PMR and UPSR..
Malam is full with tuition and Quran classes and beginning of the year, they are busy with the sports activities.. Rugby, Football, Lompat Kijang, lari 4x200 and ntah apa2 lagi..(I'm not a sport's person, ok.. therefore that should answer the way I write!!)
It has also been agreed that all activities which are not exam related are to be put on hold by end of March 2009..and kalau 1st exam tak ok.. jangan harap nak g mana2 aktiviti lain, walaupun wakil sekolah....

My usual menu for weekends would be chocolate cake for the family untuk minum petang.. tapi that day, i wanted to try something different.. I did laksa Johor.. 1st attempt and kira jadi le.. sedap di tekak I. I actually love laksa Johor so much tapi since Syed tak berapa suka laksa, minat nak buat tu tak ada, but that day when we were served Laksa Johor at Enda's house ( Enda is Syed's auntie), I just have to try it at home.. makan kat rumah orang, tak kan nak tambah 2/3 kali kan.. ada lagi perasaan malu le..
And the last photo was chocolate cake still.. kawan minta tolong buatkan.. hmmm... is this the starting point for cake business??
