Family activity for the week - Tanam pokok..

I received 2 pokok palm merah from a dear friend of mine.. dah lama dah, almots 2 weeks. Hari ni Syed decides to tanam the 2 pokok di laman rumah before dia kecut/mati...kesian pokok tu..
Kerja yang sepatutnya boleh siap dalam setengah jam, end up jadi sejam.. Ramai yang nak try pakai cangkul, ada yang nak mengcangkul sambil duduk atas peha Walid dan macam-macam lagi la...

SYED HANIFF ALHADY IS NOW 10 YEARS OLD!!!

Occasion : Birthday Gathering for my Darling Haniff
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING!!!
Umi dan Walit doakan Haniff sihat dan panjang umur. Moga adik menjadi anak yang soleh dan rajin belajar (you people still owe me maths - 4 page!!!)[/color]
Today, my darling Haniff cukup 10 tahun.. it means cukup la sepuluh tahun Syed and I habis belajar di US dulu.. Ingat lagi masa balik, Haniff was still dalam pantang..however he was such a huge baby dan memang senang nak handle.. Tuhan telah mempermudahkan everything for me.. Syukur sangat2..
That was 10 years ago, Haniff dah besar pun.. inysallah kalau ada rezeki Haniff balik pergi tengok hospital Haniff, which is Oakwood Hospital at downtown Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Now Haniff is in year 4, Sekolah Rendah Ibrahim and next year masuk Standar 5 in the same school. He is very active in sports and his favourite game is definitely football. Sekarang ni cuti sekolah, sharp at 5.30pm ada je gang yang tunggu depan rumah, nak p main game..
And on his birthday, we went to rumah Babah, (the kids call Syed's mum - Babah), and we celebrate the birtyhday kat sana with Babah, Kak Munirah and company..
Well as for his presents, he requested for his robots, yang ni dah dapat dah and memang dok peluk the item everyday and he has also requested for hamster.. Hmmm.... nak beli, tak beli?

Well... I buat makan2 sikit.. jemput kawan-kawan ke rumah.. Everyone from the main office and the clubhouse came to my home..
I ordered some food, but I myself buat dalca daging (Syed's favourite) and agar-agar gula merah.

Ish panas betul la hari tu.. tak tahan.. nak pula rumah I mengadap panas petang..
So petang tu, I ajak hubby mandi sungai kat Tupah.. Syed ok je.. anak2 macam tak nak as they have already got a date to play football kat padang.. tapi bila Syed kata "Siap cepat'.. he he tak ada yang membantah..kalau dengan kita tu, ada je bahas-bahas yang dihujahkan..
At 5.30pm everybody was already in the car and we drove straight to the sungai.. masa sampai orang lain tengah kemas nak balik.. tapi kita baru sampai.. itu yang best tu, tak ramai orang..
Sampai terus berendam and at about 6.30pm kami balik la.. bukan nak lama sangat.. janji boleh rendam dalam air sungai... BEST!!

Princess tindik telinga

My princess nak sangat tindik telinga.
Dia kata, "Umi, girls kena tindik telinga kan??baru cantik!!".
Hmmm... ok, let's go..So Syed and I brought her to Tesco since situ ada one accessories shop and the lady kata, 'Yes, kita ada that service".
Aja choose the green earning and the process starts.. It begins with the 'tanda' kan tempat at both ears supaya tak senget, then baru 'pistol' tu keluar..
They sprayed the benda sejuk tu at her ear supaya cuping telinga kebas then baru 'tembak'. Dia terasa pedih kot as she said that it hurts.. kelam kabut Madam tu spray lagi benda sejuk tu ke telinga dia.. I told my princess that the process for the other ear has to continue.. kalau tidak tak cantik la, as sebelah je ada earring..
She agreed and syukur, tak nangis..

CONVOCATION 2007 - THE BIG DAY!!!

Date : 14 November 2007
Time : 7.15am
Venue : Dewan Seri Budiman,
UiTM Shah Alam
The big day arrives... 7.15am, I, Syed, Mum and Dad dah sampai ke UiTM Shah Alam.
Seronok jumpa kawan2 yang sama2 belajar dulu. Riuh rendah masa pakai jubah. sibuk pin sana, pin sini, takut mortarboard jatuh dan sebagainya..
Masa beratur ramai2 tu yang rasa seronok, sebak semua ada.. Tengok muka2 family yang datang tu, they were beaming with pride.
As for myself, as I nampak my parents and my life partner's face, it says it all...I was so happy that I was able to share my success with my loved ones. Cuma on the convocation day itslef, I tak bawa anak. Bukan apa, takut dia orang restless.
However, on the next day, masa nak hantar jubah and ambil the paper, I brought everybody and we took more pictures. That was better as I pun dah tak penat sangat..
For all the graduates who were awarded with their PHD, Masters and Degress on the 14th Nov, the session was headed by Duli Yang Di Pertuan Agung..
Inysaallah.. next convo session would be for my hubby as he is now doing his PHD in USM.. Doakan everything goes well ..

My Darling Kipan goes to school...

Event : Darling Kipan goes to school
Date : 17th November 2007
Time : 8.15am
Nama penuh Kipan?.... Hmmmmm, nak kena check with my sis..
Ateh kata nama dia is - ADLI IRFAN.
My nephew, I panggil dia Kipan Darling, registered for his Standard one orientation day on 17th November 2007, (hari yang I nak bertolak balik tu).
He looked handsome but kind of terkejut as kena pakai baju sekolah putih and seluar biru tua...
He went with his Mum at about 8.15am and had his test. I assume untuk tentukan kelas la tu. Then at about 10.30am selesai semua dia pun sampai la rumah..
Dapat upah gula2 and ice- cream

Barbaque di rumah Ateh di Kota Damansara

Ateh ajak Abang-abang for a makan2 di rumah dia. We also manage to get Kak Yah and Hanafi to come over for the gathering.
My cousins from Daddy's side, Arin and Ani with their 2 kids and Ina, anak Mak Long Bukit Rokan came with the hubby and their 4 kids.
Ina ni I last jumpa was about 7 years ago. Lepas tu since semua orang dah sibuk with family commitments, jarangla dapat jumpa.
